This was an amazing episode. With typical "Black Mirror" fashion you start the episode not knowing anything. The only thing you know is that something is wrong. I wasn't able to figure out what was going on at all. I had to wait for them to tell me.

This is an interesting way to go about punishing criminals but do you think this was a few steps too far? Would this classify as cruel and unusual? If you think about the point of the justice system, it is to rehabilitate criminals so they can be integrated back into society. Does this help to that end? That is an answer I don't have. I don't remember if they tell you how long the sentence is but if this is an ongoing thing then I completely disagree with it, no matter how it appeals to a sense of justice. One thing I would like to note is that this would send a very powerful message to criminals. If you don't want this to happen to you, don't commit crime. That being said, it would be a strong deterrent.

Now on to the questions.

Do you like this form of punishment?

Do you think this is a step too far?

What would be an instance where you would agree with this form of punishment?

What would be an instance where you would disagree?

Please include the WHY

Comments always Welcome!
