In this dystopian thriller, we follow Liam as he goes through his life with a device called the "grain" giving him perfect recall of everything he sees and hears. What is even more interesting is that this perfect recall isn't something that can only be experienced through one's own eyes, it can also be displayed on a TV for all to see. In one scene of the show, he is going through TSA or customs and in order to be cleared he must allow them access to a predetermined amount of time so they can check if you have been in any contact with terrorists or criminals. Not going to talk about the implications here, but you can see how this could be abused. What is interesting is how this plays out at a party that Liam and his wife are at. Liam grows suspicious of his wife's interactions with another man. After confronting his wife, and later the other man, he learns a very disturbing truth. His child may not be his. As you can imagine, this destroys Liam and sends him down a very dark path.
